This team started out the season with an All Tennessee (native born) offensive line. They were indeed something special, expecially in the run game.
I saw this game on my Honeymoon. Wife was sick in the hotel. She missed one fine game, for sure. Still married to her, too.

That Miami documentary failed to mention this game. hmm wonder why??.....

Jimmy JOhnson should have played the highlights (or lowlights) of that game to his team before playing against Penn State.

Vinny Testaverde was sacked 8 times, hurried 16 times, threw 4 interceptions and fumbled twice. Tennessee set a Sugar bowl record in tackles for loss, 24. Tennessee absolutely dominated every phase of the game. This was not one of Tennessee's most talented teams. But they had a bigger heart than ANY UT team since.

We beat the CONVICTS!

And Tennessee was on their 3rd STRING QB! The others got hurt, mainly their starter against Aabama was put out for the year!
-
Miami kept trash talking ONLY. TENNESSEE DID THE WALKING- RIGHT OVER VINNY AND THE
'CANES!
