  • @sfking134 it could also depend on the size of your band. the less players you have maybe you wanna put more notes in to fatten up the sound

  • @schunful Those extra things are just the style... You don't actually need to play those it depends on you, for some people it sounds kind of off and empty so they just do the similar thing he does in the video.

  • hey um, ya, cud u put the bass tabs in TAB format. u just have a bunch of notes (which i cant read) and some random tabs that dont sound like the song. cud u plz just actuallu MAKE a tutorial or something. thanks

  • you add to many notes im sorry

  • you're great sir! can i request something? please upload your video with the bass lesson of tobymac's "break open the sky".. that's a great song.. to God be the glory!

  • i was a guitar player first; then bass player and still am 5 string fender jazz bass who plays gospel music at church; when you play anything you have to play with feelings and whatever spiritual sense you feel inside not play the same way every single time like a robot or playing note for note....you have to feel the song and praise God thru your music !! not all guitar players who play bass play like a robot !!

  • 57,000 views of THIS?? It sounds, and looks all stiff as if he is playing to sheet music, instead of feeling and playing in the flow like bass should be. I bet he is really a guitar player thinking that because he plays guitar, bass is easy. Guitar players always play bass like a robot.

  • also, I just checked for tabs on your blog and couldn't find them. Did you take them down?

  • nice, I play differently. I'll try to learn this one too, I like it. God bless.

  • Can you make a tutorial for this please
