@Wolfang123 metal is derived straight from classical music, nearly every solo (from talented metal musicians) are filled with arpeggios classical scales and chord progressions, yngwie is simply more traditional. But if you think about it, classical music is the heaviest of all, i define heavy as creating the most impact, or most complex.

@tooneken maybe you 've listen to 3-4 songs of him..

greatly

yah, Yngwie's got a lot of technique, but his playing ALWAYS sounds the same. I mean, everytime you listen to any song of Yngwie, it will contain similar progressions of scales (kinda up-down-down-up alternate picking & the burnt overrated sweep picking). I used to like his style when I was clueless about different styles beyond soloist guitarists & this kind of metal. This man needs to reinvent his playing.
Sorry for pissing off Malmsteen's fanboys but you know this is true

he's a bit unsynced respect to the rest

@Wolfang123 Ok, but that's not rock n roll or classic... It's neoclassic metal :)

Hes like the cure in this sense
He doesn't fit in to any type of music group.
he is he's own style, he's own type of music

@Wolfang123 Yngwie is an Original just like his Music. What do you think Neo-Classical Music is ? It's a mixture of both Rock & Classical.

I would love to tell to Mr Malmsteen that rock'n roll is rock'n roll and classic music is classic music. But ok he's an original man!
