part 2: a good rescue dog. So she talked to him and he decided to adopt the dog and train him. More or less 2 yrs later the Haiti disaster occured and this dog and his handler rescued a boy, and a lady (on d+5 days) so take note that abandoned dogs can give you anything since they only want love in exchange.

Yeah people adopt dogs, no need to spend large amounts of money if what you want is unlimited love.

Now theres one story that relly touches me, theres this dog that was abandoned with clear sings of being badly treated, he got sent to a pound were he was adopted by a young woman. This woman after a year +- had to leave her house as she joined the military and she had no one to look after the dog, but she remembered that her neighbour, who was a rescue dog trainer, had good aptitudes to become

People who want to adopt a new friend should definitily consider going to a shelter. You will be surprise with the mumber of special dogs and cats just waiting for you. I adopted my Oliver some few months ago when he was 3 months old and he has become a very special part of my life. Yesterday I adopted us a new friend, Fred. If I can give Fred half of the happiness that Oliver brings me every day, Fred will be the happiest little dog in the world! Check Oliver's video on my page!

I hope you do, neopets. Whatever kind of dog you're looking for can be found in the shelters, foster homes and breed rescue organizations.

If I may make a suggestion, there is a book by Susan Sternberg titled Successful Dog Adoption. She has worked in shelters since Moses peed on the roses and she points out the behaviours that you should look for when trying to find a good, sweet dog.

I'll also suggest Cesar Milan and the Monks of New Skete. Both will help in doing what's right for a dog.
