Why does it start earlier and earlier every year?

Do I greet you a Happy Halloween or a Merry Christmas???

Why can't they wait?

  • Went to the mall yesterday on nov 1 and all the christmas stuff and santa clause where already set up. I wonder if they where actually up before halloween was over.

  • i bet they were ;)

  • Where I work, they have had Christmas decorations for sale since the beginning of October. Ridiculous. Customers don't buy it, nobody wants to see it, it's poor judgement by upper-management.

  • exactly, it's more likely to put people off the idea of Christmas more than anything

  • I dressed up as santa clause last year! crap I better run.

I actually did it because I wanted to wear something no one had ever done before not because I wanted to rush Christmas.

  • haha, so it has actually been done, lol

  • hallowmas realy existed it was the old name for all hallows day or all saints day

  • on october the 4th the pets do fathers and mothers day for their parents

  • its also valenter and eastine

  • i love your accent! :D

  • Nah man, easter and halloween are proper irish holdiys , halloween = samhain, a festival of dead spirits and d end of d year, and easter is the beggining of the year, and of life etc. its a shame america just sells everything out.

  • It's all done for commercial reasons. They always have some theme going. After Christmas, it's Valentine's Day, then Easter, then Fourth of July (here in the USA), then Back To School, then Halloween, then Thanksgiving (another local holiday), and then Christmas again.

  • yeah ur right,...

  • You have a point. Nightmare before christmas was good in my opinion, but, Tim Burton should never touch children movie themes ever again.
