@buggoff They are slightly ahead of schedule and two lanes in each direction is now open. In fact, it was recently reported that the bridge will be COMPLETED by May 2012 and not October 2012.

What's the latest status of the bridge construction as of late April? I'll see it for myself when I get down there this weekend for Bayfest in Somers Point. Just wondering.
