Anything that's 140 BPM is dubstep, doesn't matter if it has more mid-range sounds than the 'real' dubstep that was born out of UK Garage and 2-Step.

Back in the time everything could be Dubstep, but since the 'wrong' dubstep has been going main-stream. Now everyone is differating themselves from it and start calling it Brostep.
