@saucersix Gretsch still produces the G6120BS (mine date from 2005 and is called BSB later changed to BS and was produced in the Fugijen plant in Japan, serial JF... as opposed to JT...). On the Gretsch site It is under the modern G6120 when you look at the other colours that are available. Quite rare either though but such a beautiful guitar.

been playing for almost 20 years. the technique is pretty rough. the out of tune you are hearing isn't the reverb, its his technique. the notes are ending up out of tune because they are going sharp. throughout the piece you can tell from the chord work that he is fretting pretty hard and isn't comfortable with the complex chord shapes. nice axe though.

Reverb can make it sound out of tune, sometimes.. u get a chorus effect..but it does sound out.. really like the bluesburst color
what do they call that color? It's nice I love the orange gretschs, but that blue looks really nice.

@Parley454 Blue burst with gold hardware. I don't see it on the Gretsch site, so maybe they don't make it anymore. I got it about 5 years ago.

Its out of tune :( other than that rele nice song.
I have a question would the amp be too loud for apartments?
JimmyChiffels 2 years ago
Just like any other amp, It's a matter of the volume knob. In this video the amp volume is maxed (clean), and I just barely have the guitar volume turned up. The Triggerman is a 60w 12" amp. You can crank it pretty good, but you also get a great tone down low.
