I watched these videos as a swordsman with no prior experience in dancing with the exception of purely improvised dance in drug induced trance at underground raves; Western sabre combat being my speciality and Japanese Kenjutsu being my first experience in sword fighting. I must say having already familiarised myself with footing, I found the Tango to be superfuckineasy. If you can fence, you can dance, and vice versa. You're already halfway there.

Hello Sid,
as a basic move we tell the leader to NOT shift his weight(so it is easier to learn), but once he is confortable with it, he could do any movement he want while he leads the follower into ochos.

very clear instruction.
one question: should the leader NOT shift his weight between the feet for EVERY ocho-repetition that the follower does?
Perfect! Thanks so much for making these videos; they teach what you need to know to look great dancing, and show everything so clearly. I love it!
