So leme get this straight: it's legal to run down to the gun store, buy a fully auto assault rifle, but u just Gotta pay fines?

1. You can only a fully automatic assault weapon unless you have a class 3 lience and good luck getting one of them

2. You cant have any warrants or a felony

3. The gun must be registered before it can be sold to you.

4. You must have your license and some form of paperwork to prove your residence

5. You have to go through a background beck before you can buy a gun

@iLikeToitools There is a Class 3 licence but it's referring to having the rights to sell guns as dealers where as Class 1 is international sale and Class 2 is manufacturer, but yes you don't need to have the Class 3 license to buy an automatic rifle but you do need to have the FFL if I remembered right, and the gun also has to be registered prior to a date (I think it's some time in 1986).

AKMS actually, AK-47s have milled receivers while this has stamped receiver.
