Meth Bust Nets Almost a Pound of Meth, Over 6K in Cash

The Houston County Sheriff's Office had recently conducted a narcotics investigation that yielded approximately 15 ounces of methamphetamine (ice) with a street value of $30,000.00 and approximately $6,500.00 in U.S. currency was also seized.




The Houston County Sheriff's Office has charged, Uriel Alonso Jasso Rubio a 27 year old Hispanic male from Midland City, Alabama. Alejandro Magana Vargas 27 year old Hispanic male from Austell Georgia. Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez a 25 year old Hispanic female also from Austell Georgia All three were charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and their bonds set at $250,000.00 each.




All three subjects are being held in the Houston County Jail for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement due to the illegal status of all three subjects' entry into the U. S.




The Houston County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Dale County Drug Taskforce during the operation
