it seems an ending that you either liked or hated, it is interesting that her other drama made the same year bright girl also has something of an odd ending.

Yes, but the resolution was very refreshing and atypical, don't you think? I like how she doesn't TECHNICALLY choose either in the conventional sense. Rather, she chooses Hyun-sung's friendship over SJ's love. And although her friendship with HS is obviously something more, it's not explicitly shown.
Anyway, great video and the song really fits HS! :)
