Wong Fei Hung Tournament - Hung Ching - Peter - Chi-Sao _ 2nd round

Peter Bonet [black t-shirt] competing in the "Chi-Sao" competition of the Wong Fei Hung tournament 2008. Peter won his first 2 rounds; but was disqualified in the third round for a toe kick to the throat! Yes, the throat! Although it was an illegal, and no doubt painful kick; it was a excellent kick at that!

Peter is the N.J. Branch Fut Sao Wing Chun representative.

its southern chi sao, the guy in black does both wing chun and spm, it looks like the guy in red does only wing chun

What is the purpose of this particular style of Chi Sao? Are kicks used to thrawt equal level or better skill? Forgive my ignorance for asking this question. Also, is it SPM or Ving Tsun? Thank you!

This is a great match, both seem very skilled. This guy is nasty with those kicks! lol.
