to everyone who view this video "1999" was Prince 5th album released in 1982. If u a Prince fan the best thing to start with his first album "For You" 1978 or his 1979 album "Prince" then go to "Dirty Mind" 1980 and Controversy" 1981.

Purple Rain was just Prince's most *commercially accepted* albums, but I think 1999 was by far his best. Most artists put out albums w/ 5 or less hit singles, and the rest of the album is fillers. However every song on this album was solid enough to be released as singles.That why I believe this was his best album by far.
