epic F#5 at 1:43! Raspy E5 then BAM nice strong resonant F#5! When she is rested she can blow. This performance was amazing!
-
@joshuakeria Don't agree, this sounds a hundred times better, she can even belt some notes. At Live 8 show she wasn't even able to sing.
-
Some troubles to hit the highest belting notes near 3:03 but this is fucking great, let's be honest.
-
@simplymild What notes??
-
PLEASE! The Mimi tour was a vocal disaster
-
she just sounded like the madison square mariah on 95!
-
this proves that if she rest enough and take care of her voice she still can sing great
-
i was there in zurich concert mariah is the best i will never forget that day my hole life i saw mariah live i was like shock i had all the pic
-
you can watch this... withtout any high-tech studio equipments this could be her highest chest notes live : /watch?v=jmMBXOyRFWg

i hate to admit it, but i kinda agree with you, but i hope her voice is going through a down patch at the mo, i thought she had lost just after the butterfly era and before rainbow but then came back during glitter and charmbracelet with huge vocals so lets hope she gets enough rest after E=MC2 and continues her amazing vocals.
To be honest, I think she makes use of high-tech studio equipments to record those notes... I'm not talking about the whistle register, pleaseeeee...

yeah i somewhat doubt that...

She hits her highest chest voice note in a recording in the song "Miss You (Remix)" and she hits a note half a step down from that in her BET performance of "Vision of Love..."

i just think that the madison square garden one was better because it was quality...because this is just phenominal..her vocals are at its peak...cauz she sounds soo good...better then in the 90's actually..amazing...but the quality is so bad that it takes away from the performance..because i think that the vocals are better then the one in madison square in 1995.

well of course I was talking about the vocals... what do I care about the video quality? I'm not exactly a videophile...

" Arguably the best post-Glitter performance of the song..."
Nope, it goes to the performance at Live 8 London. But this is pretty close.
