  • @ mindhead2005. When you get the new synapse you should do a vid that just shows off all the different steinbergers you have, and the differences between them all,I would love to see that, and since you know a lot abot them it would be very informative to someone whos considering getting one.either way take care my friend, talk to you again soon.

Thanks Steve - very much enjoyed chatting with you! I'll be getting another Synapse soon, so I'll put a vid up when I get it! >:)

  • @mindhead2005 thanks man, be honest with you I forgot it takes single ball strings,I will have to look into wich ones I should get,on my fenders and etc. I usually use Ghs or ernie ball super slinkys. And by the way,I have seen the trace elliot double ball strings on e-bay,in case you want to look there.

The GHS I don't like, really. I usually buy those TEs on eBay when I see the right guage! :)

    Hey Steve

I have read that the GHS ones caused jaw break on the older ones, but bear in mind on the SYnapse you can use whatever you liek - it takes single ball end strings.

I used D'Addario and Ernie Ball variously on them.

On my L2s I use Trace Elliot strings, now discontinued, but I have a box still!

    :)

  • Out of curiousity what strings do you use on your steinbergers, mine still has the strings that came on it which Im assuming are steinberger brand but Im considering ghs brand.

  • No vids yet, hopefully soon, still kind of new to youtube, and I agree,Im sure the L2 is way superior.Where in Connecticut did your L2 come from?
