  • The aluminum M70 weighs 341lbs and a cast iron block M50 weighs 299lbs. A whopping difference of 42lbs. Take out an A/C compressor and you are all sqaure when it comes to weight bias.

  • heheheh nice but there is a reason why they put only a straight6 in the e36, the v8 ore v12 are much too heavy, so if u race the car on a track it will understear ..... shure when u push him hard the tail will come, but the weight proportion are screwed.....

And yes, there is a reason why E36s came with inline 6s. That reason is cost.

  • guys ı wanna buy a bmw but ı didnt decide whic one ı should buy e30 or e36 they are both good.help me out whic one should buy.whic one of them ? can you explain me some details advices. ı need help.pleas reply me

  • @TX2673XA the straiht six is heavy too, like tommott77 tell us...

The real race Bmw like the old DTC ore now WTCC mostly had 4 zylinder engins, to keep the right weight proportions correct. When u get more grip in the front, shure it will be harder to understeer.. but special the BMW is recomend to use a very good Suspension, whit Semislicks it will be a awesome car for the track !!

When u use a very good suspension there is no reason to go for a 4zylinder....I drive a M52 Alu block

  • @FireballGER Hy. I hawe a e36 320i And my front understear anihow. I think the front weels have mor grip now, and it is harder to understear or not?? Sory my bad english.

  • Может пукнуть!))))))))))))

  • @tommott77 Hey mate, Awesome car! how hard is it to slot one of these beasts in there? also what kind of manual gearbox are you running? currently just running the standy 2.8L block (maunal) was looking at going down this road i heard somewhere that the gearboxes are hard to fit together and i also heard they arnt :-S much appreciated.

  • You actually squeezed that monstrous V12 into that? Impressive!

  • Nice job man. very different in my eyes.. Haters step your game up... This is some wicked stuff. Very impressed with this build. Good luck.
