"Alone", by the Minneapolis band, The Twilight Hours, http://thetwilighthours.com. The songs is taken from their debut album, "Stereo Night". Directed by Phillip Harder the video was shot in a tiny house boat floating on the Mississippi whose one room had previously been decorated with mirrors for an art installation. NASA footage from the 1960's is interwoven with footage of the band.

  • WOOT WOOT!! Im STILL goin crazy from the show these guys played here in Vegas last year. It was off the hook! I couldnt beleive what I was seeing. Sometimes i still think i mightve been dreaming!

  • I love that Jacques rises out of the floor for his beautiful solo...his playing really makes this band. Very tasty and very complimentary. You dudes rule. Get on the road this summer and come out West.

  • Nice work by John and Matt - you really make Minneapolis proud, my God what a beautiful song!

  • Absolutely love this song. It's the strange and beautiful combination of melody and melancholy the likes of which I have not heard since since "Unlucky Lady." The world is right again.

  • Love this band and all their songs. Cool video.

  • Thanks for posting this guys. Nothing beats the experience of watching it with you at the Cedar...

  • God this is good. Matt and John, your voices are still fantastic! Even better...if that's possible. Ha!

Love the song. I'll look for you in Kansas City. Please come!

  • I love the melody, the stripped down sound showcases Matt's voice so well. Since the Sun Sawed in 1/2 is back in the studio, this is a really cool inspiration on how to keep the core of the song so up front. Beautiful.
