Tsugaru shamisen is a 3-stringed fretless lute from northern Japan, and is traditionally played with a large plectrum called a bachi. I normally play mostly classical, Japanese, and Balkan gypsy tunes on my instrument, but I just couldn't resist learning every little infectious auto-tuned line of this one! This is the first ATtN episode I learned start to finish. Thanks to the Gregory Brothers for providing the jam fodder.
