But frankly, it doesn't take guts... after all, we're not living under Hitler's dictatorship... so why don't we ALL speak up and so something about what's bothering us? Why do we think we need to be scared? The only people who have a reason to be scared are those who have something to hide... such as black money, under-table connections with politicians and authorities, etc...

You're right. Goa suffers because it was already too tiny to begin with. Not only that, Goans are also moving out of Goa to Canada, Australia, so all that you have remaining are the businessmen from Mumbai and Delhi acquiring and selling land. But I'm an optimist at heart. So I guess I will continue to hope well. Came across this Goa NRI group on Facebook. Will see what they are upto. Cheers and have a good trip
