  • Is there a particular Sears wheel weight that fits the JD's?

  • Those wheel weights come from a sears tractor from the early 80s but I'm not sure which year exactly.

  • do you need an extension-bock for the snow blower ?

  • I'm not sure what you mean about extension-bock.

  • has you got tire-weights?? or just tire-chains??

  • wheel weights come from a sears craftsman tractor. They fit perfectly on the john deere.

  • i have a X300 and they are nice tractors...i traded my LX188 in in January. they are very fuel efficent...i really enjoy it

  • I just bought a new X300 in April of 08' and ive been wondering how it really does plowing snow.Ive been using an atv to do my plowing but i might just consider getting a blower for my mower now.The X300's blower makes plowing with my atv look prehistoric!!

  • you should get a blower, the plow will get stuck easily in the snow

  • @neongummieworm I'm sure he doent want to spend $15,000 and up on a tractor lol

  • @KINGTERIK husqavarna makes most of sears tractors, and as long as you get a garden tractor made for ground engagement you should be ok!

  • @KINGTERIK I after my trans goes (which will be just out of warranty) I'll have to upgrace to a K66 trans and then I'll have basically the strength of the K320.... so why not just do it eight the first time and buy the X320 or X324 4 wheel steer in the first place? My ignorance and thinking I was going to save money. if your just going to cut an acre of grass and do nothing else, get the D1** series of tractors, if you going to add to that get the X320 and up! I hope this helps you...

  • @KINGTERIK the john deere X320 and X324 are my reccomendations. the X320 has the K58 trans which is rock solid and you can change the oil in it fairly easily(its user serviceable) unlike the X300's K46 which isnt. coming from someone with a D110 that has a T40 trans in it, I had to void my arranty and take my trans out of ther tractor, and then turn it over to empty the crappy oil and then install Full Synthentic 5W30 to stop the whining it made, but that will only last me another 120 hours

  • @chaddythepimp1973 Thanks for that advice. Im a noob looking for a tractor that can do 2 acres, plow snow, & redo my drive way will this be a good choice ?

  • good

  • all you guys that want to put wheels weights on a tractor with a hydrostatic tranny, I wouldnt do it! thats a good way to mess up your tranny alot faster!! the newer tractors that can go forward/reverse with your foot pedal, have weaker tanny's and therefore when you add weights to the wheels and up the rotational mass of them. going forward to reverse and vice versa will burn up the fluid and kill the tranny very fast!........ just a warning.! buy the rear tatch weights instead!

  • Have you tired it in wet snow? we never get dry snow here, always 18" of wet snow at 35F
