  • I agree, i love kerry ellis and she is my absolute idol but this song works so much better in the show, but i do love her version on defying gravity.

  • Kerry Ellis was amazing in Wicked! I was so glad and so very lucky that I got to see her live in performance when I was in New York! She has a powerful and lovely voice, I really loved her performance!

As for Idina, I did buy the soundtrack, and I have to admit, that I really like her too. I think that they're both really talented singers. :D

  • No one compares to Idina, in my opinion, but Kerry is DAMN amazing!

  • the unmistakable footprint of Brian May has turned a good song into a great song and with Kerry Ellis vocals it sounds even better

  • I couldn't agree more!

  • Kerry Ellis is awesome. :D

I still prefer Idina's amazing version, though. I think the timidity of her voice in the song adds more to the meaning of the song. ^__^ Idina's the best!

  • I LIKE THIS! :D itz rockr-ish... :) Go Kerry!

  • this is a nice version but i like idina's more cos idina's version is sadder and this song's supposed to be sad.

  • My fave version of this song...no-one compares to Kerry Ellis :)

  • You made perfect sense. I agree. The first few times I heard it, though, I was still going 'wait, what?'
