Composer Ian Shaw (http://www.ianshawmusic.com) created this piece by generating all the sounds in Photosounder and editing them together in Pro Tools. This video shows the final result as it appears in Photosounder.

  • Wow, I'm an artist/musician and this is something I could really use! Is it specifically for use with Photoshop or can it work with Paintshop Pro as well?

  • @gazzmatronix anything that can edit images really, even MS Paint. You can even draw sound on paper and scan it and then open the scan in Photosounder.

  • 0o0 Awesome!!

  • IM GETTING THIS PROGRAM FOR CHRISTMAS (^o^)

  • u did not just draw that didnt u ? u pasted some sounds...

  • I really like how each individual piece plays on its own and then it all comes together at the end.

  • the ending is really cool

  • Great work! I especially like the gated stutters and the David-Torn-esque ending. Must have been a lot of work in PT, you should try Ableton Live for this kind of thing. It's a match made in heaven.
