Cool
Sylar is the Sith
-
Sylar's glasses were for when he was making his watches, it magnified them by like...20,000,000,000,000,000, and so on and so on. lol
-
That's true. Even accidental injuries seem to get it every time.
-
Well, they could say it's small as much as they want, but anyone with a weapon hits it pretty consistently until the shapeshifting bit.
-
Exactly! Although I'm not sure how "good-sized" it is; didn't they say something about it being extremely small? But I guess in that case it shows an ability to fine-tune things that would also be important when he's trying to slightly alter the shape of his eyeballs.
-
Well, if he can move a good-sized part of his brain, then that should be a piece of cake.
-
(Hope you don't mind me jumping in ;) )
I'm not sure if he would have been able to "cure" his eyes with Claire's ability. My first guess would have been yes, but your argument is very persuasive, Vadergeek. In any case, though, he should be able to fix them through shapeshifting now.
-
Well, just because they developed oddly doesn't exactly mean they would heal. It's like, if Claire's growth was stunted before she got her powers, she probably wouldn't automatically grow, but she might if her legs were chopped off. Corrective surgery would probably just be cutting everything and letting it regrow properly, like with a cast. This kind of rambling debate is pretty fun.
-
But the reason he's far-sighted is because his eyes developed incorrectly. He could get surgery to have them corrected so why wouldn't Claire's ability do the same?
(I love that we're debating the details of a supernatural power. It's ridiculous in the most fun way.)
-
Well, if you're eyes were messed up like those of Stevie Wonder, who sustained eye damage, then I would agree. But I view it as Sylar just being naturally vision impaired, so his eyes will grow back with the same problems. Claire's liver is going back to its base state, so she isn't being damaged, nor in fact is she even inebriated.
this vid shows the nerdy sylar. for some very strange reason, i LOVED the nerdy watchmaker sylar better. i don't know why. i feel there's some mysterious charm to his nerdy-ness. just lovely. anyone else agree?
