Cannot even imagine the anguish the germans must've felt seeing the union jack raised surrounded by british soldiers. Horrible and saddening!

The propaganda is typical, "Hitler trying to take over the world" Also the fact that Germans were been "paid" for labour, When infact Germans & POWs were been used as slaves by both Allies & Soviet for many years after the war.
