  • Genetic and immunological studies over the past two decades have failed to yield evidence of precolumbian African contributions to the indigenous populations of the Americas.[9][10][11] Additionally, the huge mortality associated with the spread of Old World diseases introduced by Europeans suggests long-term immunological isolation which further shows the lack of any contact with African people in the Americas before Columbus.

  • @superdonyoungy there is genetic evidence of an early african presence in America. See:olmec98 net/ GenAm. pdf

You are stating a false analogy. Immunological studies can not prove Africans were not in ancient America. It says nothing about their presence since it was europeans who spread diseases in the Americas.

  • @SouthahYard Pacific Islanders and Africans look alike. They are both negroes.

  • @morocatl the main point is that people want to discredit the idea that black people were and are capable of traveling and establishing civilzations..without hesitation . Regardless of this blacks ARE AND WILL always be capable of great things.

  • @superdonyoungy You are stupid. You expect people to listen to you when you present no evidence to support your claims.

ou can stop posting here until you have evidence to suipport your propositions.

  • @superdonyoungy LOL. just because they are not accepted means nothing. The fact remains the skeletons were of Africans--not native American,

  • @elmciti There's no compelling evidence that confirms the whole black Olmec theory, none. Scientists seek the truth, regardless of the answers, there is no secret conspiracy to ignore black history, there's simply no evidence to confirm the wild claims.

So far the best evidence is the fact that some stone heads which look identical to Patagonian Indians also look like Africans, and an old fashioned and acknowledged flawed method of categorising skeletal remains

  • @Olmec98 I've copied and pasted some waffle lifted from Wikipedia, I can't be bothered to go into too much detail because you aren't going to budge in this and that doesn't bother me, I just want people who are objective to be able to come on here and see that there is far more evidence to contradict your claims than confirm them.

The Olmecs were NOT Africans, go do the research people and understand the people trying to push this are just jaded about their real history and want to steal another

  • @Olmec98 Wiercinski's research methods and conclusions are not accepted by the vast majority of Mesoamerican scholars, in part because of his reliance on the Polish Comparative-Morphological methodology which limits the placement of skull types within a very narrow spectrum that is often within: Caucasian, Negroid, and Mongoloid. Native Americans are thus made to fit within these groups which often yields false and contradictory assumptions as a result of sample bias.

  • @superdonyoungy The skeletal evidence has never been debunked . See:Wiercinski,A. (1972). Inter-and Intrapopulational Racial Differentiation of Tlatilco, Cerro de Las Mesas, Teothuacan, Monte Alban and Yucatan Maya, XXXlX Congreso Intern. de Americanistas, Lima 1970 ,Vol.1, 231-252.Wiercinski,A. 1. Show where the language connections are incorrect.

2, No one has collected Olmec DNA.

    You are a liar.

  • Sorry, but I'm with the peers on this one, I say Asian/Chinese if anything. I know a lot of black people are keen for this to be true but I doubt it. The links regarding language are speculative and incorrect, the DNA evidence doesn't concur and the skeletal theory has been debunked already.

  • @Labyrithsociety... afrocentrics have ACTUAL facts too.... facts that racist eurocentrics know just as well but wont tell nor admitt....
