@rtsoccerplayer Do you have an e-mail, lol? I want to send u a pic of the tires on my truck, i think only 1 wheel has all 5 lug-nuts, and it has no shake and vibration whatsoever. I have driven it 1700miles that way so far, in about 3 weeks, since I got the truck up and running again. Truck sat for 2 years with only a 62$ coil out on it, lol.

@emgpickups1990 i'm pretty sure it makes a difference. My dad and i were once changing our van's tires from winter tires back to all season tires in the garage. My dad broke a stud, but didn't tell my mom because he knew she would panick while driving. So he just put the hubcap over it, and left it for the day so he could bring it to the mechanic the next day. My mom didn't know the stud was broken but she said she noticed a difference in the feel of the van when she drove it.

@rtsoccerplayer I know you posted this 9 months ago, but having 4/5 doesn't make a difference. I've seen cars with 3/5 in like a triangle pattern, only problem with this is some tire companies wont put tires on a car with broken studs.

lol only 4 nuts on the front left rim?

I guess he wanted to be different?? Even when his car is a WRX, the drivetrain is still the same as what I had previously before that worn tranny; '00 RS 5spd and rear VLSD.
Now that I have my JDM DCCD 6spd and R180 w/ Brembos, I'm all good to have fun!

This just makes me laugh. Why would you state "from a WRX owner" it just makes you look more like a tool.
From a swapped GC owner lol....

@brodudesdabomb
please look at the wheel that is spinning. The car was idling in 1st gear after it dug a hole. I had coilover sleeves on which limits suspension travel. You can figure it out from there...

any dual range sube has lockers in the rear in 4lo. if it does not, you still got that universal bending rear end tube kicking it out of the "invisible" einstein that locks it in. Only locks in 4lo, lsd 4hi, free 2wd. It is a rare fact, (I have built 3 subes). seeing the beatings videos here on you tube is a real shame, that car is worth alot beyond a retards ej WRX and virtual 4wd. did you fix this one? the newer chassis is worth it...and that is about all its worth to me.

I didn't replace the center diff on this '93 Legacy L AWD 5spd tranny. It was just a spare tranny to use at the time with my swap.
I've never seen the dual range trannies, which are offered overseas. I hear they're just a little lower in low gear. I wished Subaru just had a locking center diff option similar to the DCCD unit for when you need to lock it. Would be a much more capable AWD system for Subaru, but there's no market for that here in the US. That's what trucks are for.
