Obama Gets My Two Cents On FISA Amendments Act

Barack Obama says that he will vote for the FISA Amendments Act, which gives the President the ability to engage in spying against the American people without any oversight. Now he wants my donation? Here's what I'll give Obama - my two cents.

I don't like guns, personally. But, yes, as long as the Constitution has the second amendment, it needs to be respected.

By the way, the second doesn't guarantee the right to bear a GUN. It guarantees the right to bear ARMS, which now include nuclear, chemical and biological weapons.

I think the second amendment could use some clarification to ban these weapons - but until it does, I think it's hypocritical of people to talk about gun rights without talking about nuclear arms rights.

Obama is NOT going to dismantle Bush's faith-based initiatives. He's going to EXPAND them. Those are Obama's words, not mine.

It's a kickback program to buy church leaders off.  It's corrupt. It's unconstitutional.

Just think, 2 cents would have bought you 42 cents worth of product back in 1913. But, just like now, the people of 1913 were suckered by slick-tongued politicians. You do not make a point why FISA and Faith-based Initiatives violates the constitution. IMO FISA actually reinstates the 4th amendment..

I'm a libertarian, so I don't agree with you on a lot of things, but I do applaud that you have rejected Obama. If you ask me you can't even call yourself a liberal if you support Hilary or Obama. Neither is really against the war in Iraq, or attacking Iran, and both have voted for legislation that curtails our civil liberties, like the patriot act and the military commision act. They are both beholden to AIPAC. And this is the best that the democrats could come up with after 8 years of Bush?

The founding fathers clearly meant fireARMS. The whole idea of the second amendment was that it was a check against tyranny from government. They would certainly not have classified WMD in that category.

If you value freedom you should like guns. Ask Hitlers, Stalins, Maos, etc., etc. victims about that.

In all cases guns were banned, and genocide followed. The MSM, owned by the establishment almost never defends the 2nd amendment, which should tell you a lot.
