how exactly do you let the now candied peels dry fro two day? do you just leave it somewhere warm? thanks

@chilewilly That is because the pith (the thick white membrane beneath the colored part of the orange skin) is extremely bitter when it is in raw form. The skin, however, carries the vital orange oils that are used in orange scented products and a huge amount of vitamin C. If you zest the orange without the pith, you can use it raw in a number of applications. If you don't mind the bitter flavor, you could eat an orange just like an apple. ^^

@chilewilly i think its because they have been boiled they are ok but raw you aren't meant to eat them. not sure just an idea lol

I didn't know that anyone can eat orange peels I always thought it was bad to eat the peelings of the orange so that's why we were raised to throw them away I didn't know it was okay to eat it :D wow I learn things new everyday thank you for posting a great video they look very delish :)

orange and chocolate is one of my fav combinations. my GF hates it and thinks its gross. *shrug*
