Russia's first ever International Military Tattoo, 'Kremlin Zorya", has opened with a spectacular show on Moscow's Red Square. The four-day festival brings together 47 military bands from some of the world's most famous regiments.

  • seen the video of other countries marching thru red square. it shows hows far the world has come but in many ways the world needs to do much much more

  • It was a very enjoyable tattoo - now 3 years ago (Sept 2007). Pity there has not been one since because of security situation I suppose - Chechnya and Georgia? I am the Australian piper who is interviewed on this video. I would love to do another Moscow in spite of the wet weather we had there!

    Unfortunately last year the British government boycotted the invitation. Russian and Australian musicians hope this year the festival will be revived.
