Play It Safe By The Water Surfing For Girls Pres. by Oakley and EVO - CAPE CONRAN

Cape Conran played host 70 girls today for the Play it Safe by the Water Surfing for Girls Presented by Oakley and EVO.

The program, which covers the whole state, is all about teaching girls how to surf and be safe in the water this summer.

World Tour Surfer, Bec Woods, and star of the First Love film, India Payne, came down to the beach to lead the program and take the girls surfing.

The program involved a water safety component, which included how to perform a simple board rescue along with a full surf lesson and tips in the water from the pros.

Payne was ecstatic with the turnout.

"There were so many girls on the beach all smiling and having fun! I was really impressed with how many there was."

All of the girls received a prize pack for participating in the day, which included gifts from Oakley, EVO and Cancer Council Sunscreen.
