http://www.fabulouslivingcoach.com Is travelling alone to South America a good idea? I have always wanted to travel to South America, but do I want to go alone? I found a flight to Cartagena, Colombia to leave this month for a week. My travel agent advised me to read the warning before booking which shows Canadians should exercise a high degree of caution. It sounds dangerous to travel to South America alone. It freaked me out a bit. Can I not explore on my own South America as a female alone? I like to travel and explore places outside of all inclusives or resorts so I can really feel the country. For me to go to a resort which I can't leave or can only for a day trip defeats the reason as to why I like to travel.I have travelled to many places alone, but South America sounds different to travel to. Will South America be travelled now, or should I wait until I have a friend to go with? Thank you for following my journey of living on a permanent vacation with 3 weeks work, 1 week off. • Cartagena, santa marta, san andres island, medellin, barranquilla. cali and bogota, and villavicencion of course, in COLOMBIAAAAAAAAAAA

  • @jm13colombiano I can't wait to go! I just say a cheap flight for March!

  • This warnings are always too overeacting, they just exagerate de warning just to be sure, believ Caratgena its perfectly safe, you just have be carfull with certain areas like other main other city, (the same as if you travel to any another american city, like New york for example)

  • @feleru I saw a really cheap ticket from Toronto to Cartagena for March! Maybe I will go!

  • Go to Cartagena ...... stay at Playa Mar en el Laguito ... if you need the contact info for the landlord message me.... it is great!

  • @Ronniemortgage Please send the contact info! If I don't go this month, I will go one of these months as the last week of every month I am on vacation! I am now looking at Panama. Have you been there?

  • check out "South America Journey" on youtube.

  • @vainilla27 Tourist can take out their cameras perfectly in the old city, or bocagrande and others, obviously you cant show it if you are walkin in bad areas, the same think like any other city.
