i was at this show at the Lightning jam here during taste was awesome. I love it when God show's up to sit in! it was perfect everytime the music got tense BAM, then it flowed evrywhere and would get tight and bam!.... repeat ad infunitum...\
this was also my buddy matt's first show ever!

Was only able to go to the beach and walnut creek. nobody could find their cars after the show. got pulled over in emporia Va for speeding. I was awaken by a flashlight in my face and a cop telling me to get out of the car. Had a little bud in my cigarette pack, pietrictz had a 1/4 oz of fungus in the center console. in the morning his parents spotted his car at the gas station & kicked us to the curb. had to run 2 miles to the courthouse for arraignment. Thanks pietrictz!!!!!

@hypnosophy That was such a great tour. I remember the storm being particularly hard exactly at this moment during Taste. In fact, when I watched this video, it instantly brought back memories of dancing and getting soaked at the back of the lawn there. Good times!

I did the whole tour in 97 and it did storm like hell til atlanta but the hardest at walnut creek, i had 5 guys in a 85 vanagon and before and during this show everybodys stuff got wet and my van stunk the rest of the tour ,2 of my travel mates were from wisconsin and when we got to alpine they ran into there friend who was at walnut creek and it was her brother that got struck by lightning at this show ,man what a summer over 13000 miles and 19 shows and none of us got arrested,i love this band
