  • In our area Uverse is completely fibre optic ppl who have it have never hear of a phone line.

  • @VideosByCPJM consider yourself lucky. very few U-Verse areas have the fiber optic version.

  • I GOT THE 25MB HOPE THAT SHIT FLY'S I HAVE TO WAIT 20 DAYS FOR THE TECH TO COME AND INSTALL FUCKEN BULL SHIT AND THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

  • @pivot1004 There are a lot of things involved with getting the service setup. Be glad if you get the service. They could say you have to get a slower tier. U-Verse isn't going to be around in a 5-10 years.

  • @KatiushaVN4 no. no it is not FiOS. FiOS is a verizon product.

  • @kirbyyasha I've lived in San Diego, if you get cable their even with the massive bandwidth they have at certain points of the day, you might be better using dial-up. As for AT&T their speeds on their Internet are rather low in comparison to FiOS, it always will be. FiOS is completely fiber whereas U-verse is not, U-verse will use copper lines when their fiber will not reach a destination directly. AT&T's fiber network is relatively small, compared to FiOS

  • @MrWasian I live close to Chicago, but not in it. And I always have blazing fast speeds with Comcast. I've had it back when it was TCI@Home, then AT&T Broadband, then Comcast. They keep making my speeds faster, but my price remains the same with my Triple play. I've been out of promo for awhile, and not too long ago they swapped my modem free of charge to a DOCSIS3.0 proactively.

  • @kirbyyasha I wouldn't take cable internet as that is a double edged sword if you live in a big city. I prefer having a T1 or T3 connection, FiOS next, then U-Verse.

  • @KatiushaVN4 incorrect Verizon FiOS works differently and uses a completely different system this is why U-verse can only attain 18 mb/s and FiOS can go up to 150 mb/s

  • @JunitoNH lmao? Um at 1.4 kbps is easily translated to mb. Also kbps is still used on a lot of sited due to upload speeds still being lower than a mb in most households in the US
