This movie is a salute to the Modoc people, whom were bravely fought for their last piece of land against 600 US troops in 1873

I used to live in Fort Bidwell, Modoc County, as a child, on my Dad's ranch. We had a Modoc reservation very nearby and I remember interactions with them regularly. My mom worked on their reservation. We went to their powows and even at age 5 I had a little Modoc friend I remember.

little big horn was later.This is the only time where Indians killed an American General(Canby).They still had fights with Indians a kid I went to school with His great grandfather was killed in 1913 when a possi chased cattle stealing Indians into Nevada.and in 1985 I saw an Indian pull a pistol and shoot three Mexicans killing one but that was the last major battle at the strong hold

sounds like you guys liked Pearl Jam, wow this was awesome, really makes me ashamed to consider America my home because it is not....Native Americans were so in touch with Earth and it saddens me that white man destroyed their culture.

thank you for this. I too am modoc and a descendant of captain jack,he was my great,great,great,great grandfather...this is the land where I want my ashes to be scattered when my time comes....thank you friend.

ive been there. the place is very strong. you can feel the history and the sadness that happened there. we left feathers at the post. i am modoc but i am far away from home. thank you for this post.
