It a quest to get Dash Commander working on my Mitsubishi Cars (Magna, Legnum) which don't speak standard OBD protocols that devices like the ELM327, PLX WiFi, etc understand - I tried to make an ELM327 emulator, which I can then make speak the Mitsubishi protocol to translate between the two.

Finally after some months, lots of e-mail to plamer engineer support, dumping, sniffing, success!

Based on obdsim, i implemented some more protocol stuff etc to get it to work with Dash Command.. so now I have a working base I can work on the Mitsubishi side of things and then marrying them together.
