Nine Inch Nails performing "The Line Begins To Blur" at the Sydney sideshow on February 24, 2009 (Hordern Pavilion). Watch in HIGH DEFINITION!

Audio may be a bit crackly - this is YouTube's fault. The actual source files are fine.

  • does anyone know if they've played only in '09? It doesn't look like they did (or no one got it on film/youtube at least), does anyone like it live? I personally think it's a great track from with teeth, but it just doesn't translate well to the live format. that may just be me though.

  • I think the complete opposite and prefer it live.

  • You lucky fuck. I was that close one of the four times I saw NIN... and I had no camera.

  • I was at two shows in Melbourne in 2007 from what I remember due to venue failures in Sydney he skipped the shows but flew back for a once off gig in Sydney and then flew elsewhere again. Wish he had done the whole circuit again.

  • There is a genuine connection of the uncertainty and the anguish in him within the music. He really bridges the line which sometimes blurs when it comes to really expressiing musically more complex emotional states and conveying those thoughts powerfully in lyrics, really eerie and haunting albeit beautiful.

  • Love Trent!!!!! =)

  • @Ryno4269 it's either that or every live recording of this song (that i've heard at least) is very gritty. it is one of my favorite NIN songs though and i'm going back all the way to pretty hate machine

  • This song was made to be performed live!

  • I love the voice of robin! he sings so good!

  • @Ryno4269 I love both versions honestly, but it's completely true that the live one hardly sounds like the recorded. I mean obviously it's the same song, but... Something's off

  • @ryandashsdotorg Yea the version of it live on the DVD is probably my favourite of all time

  • Move your head, Rob. =)
