Kim, Tim and Kris diving on the SS Yongala. Olive seasnakes, 2m guitarshark, 2m+ bull ray, napolean (humphead) wrasse, trevally, spanish mackerel, gropers and lots more.
I dove the yongala back in November 1993. It was awesome. I could've dove it for a week and not get tired of it but I was there for only a day and a half. It took 7 hours to get out there from townsville. I also did my wreck diver specialty there. In 1 day at the yongala you'll see more marine life than on a whole trip elsewhere.
when i went out to the yongala...we have the best weather 0-5knots and we got to do a night dive which was amazing!

i did that dive in 07. it was amazing.. the only problem was the 4 meter waves we had for the entire trip... made it for a rocky ride.
