@TheAdam159 I remember that! I played DOOM 95 when I was 4 years old! I actually was the youngest best player on DOOM 95! It was back in 2004! Anyways, I prefer Wolfenstein 3D over MW3.... Besides... MW3 is just a first-person Metal Slug game. Wolfenstein 3D and DOOM... are real first-person shooters. All the 90's first-person shooters, and 90's INSPIRED first-person shooters are real first-person shooters. Also, have you heard of Serious Sam?

@loonytin There is just no comparison. The father of FPS as we know it, versus some upstart punk series like COD which has cornered the market in recent years? A series of which most kid fans don't even realise there were games before COD 4. A series that used the Quake 3 engine, meaning that if there was no Id software, there would most certainly be no COD? Give me Wolfenstein 3D over Camper of Duty Modern Lagfest any day of the week! :D

@Masterlink981 I miss the days when you'd have a very limited selection of weapons, but they were all unique from one another. You'd have your shotgun, chaingun, plasma gun, rocket launcher (in DOOM). And that was all you needed. It wasn't an assault rifle fest, like modern shooters, where you have 100 functionally identical guns with cosmetic differences. I miss the days when FPS's would balance the weapons, so a shotgun was as useful as an automatic. Thank you so much, id software! :)
