David Sylvian & Ryuichi Sakamoto feat. Ingrid Chavez - Heartbeat (Tainai Kaiki II)

Otto anni dopo "Forbidden Colours", altra collaborazione a quattro mani firmata David Sylvian / Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Un brano molto elegante e d'atmosfera, secondo lo stile musicale di entrambi i musicisti.
Il brano è contenuto nel disco "Heartbeat" di Ryuichi Sakamoto pubblicato nel 1991 nel solo Giappone e nel 1992 in tutto il mondo. Successivamente è stato pubblicato in versione remix nella doppia raccolta di David Sylvian "Everything And Nothing" del 2000.
Al brano partecipa vocalmente Ingrid Chavez, che nel 1992 sarebbe diventata la moglie di Sylvian. All'epoca era ancora una collaboratrice di Prince (sia come poetessa che come autrice e fotografa) ed era famosa più che altro come co-autrice con Lenny Kravitz del brano "Justify My Love", portato al successo nel 1990 da Madonna (Kravitz aveva musicato una poesia della Chavez).
Il brano contiene all'inizio e alla fine il campionamento della voce di John Cage che legge "Mureau", estratto del libro "M: Writings '67-'72" del 1973.
