Philosophy has helped science, it is called reason, and the scientific method.

Interesting videos. I am interested; why is it impossible for a being to be simultaneously omnipotent and omniscient?
I would also like to hear more about your perspective on ethics. If morality is not relative, what is the source, presuming it is not a god, of morality?

Philosophy is the primal reason why people who study a branch of a certain social science finds it the real concept of why existence revolves around every branches of thought. And that is important to rationalize the entire purpose of learning methods.

im glad something was said. i was a bit shocked at what he said. i thought most people of higher education held philosophy right up there. he must get more confidence for life in science then philosophy.

good video. but why this persistence in treating these to paradigms (philosophy and science) as disparate?
and the idea that philosophy comes before science, well...you would have to define both and then say: this is first. critical analysis is primary to both, the methodology, so to speak, differs. the source is the same - critical analysis of what seems to be reality.
He didn't list the first principles but he didn't need to. You *should* know about them. He shouldn't need to make them explicit in his video. The idea of solipsism is what he was getting at and it's not a very complicated one at that. If that was your objection to his video, it's very nitpicking.

You made a whole video and I wasted my time watching it.

And you then you decided to waste even more time nitpicking.
