  • @iseehaters Corn on the Grill is AWESOME. One of my favs! ~ Zen

  • Be careful with plastics and non organic food zen. You are what you eat, as you know. It's hard to do it but wants you start, you start thinking to yourself how could I have been doing that to myself... good luck

  • @BasilACA - Thanks for the advice, but it's probably too late for me. :) ~ Zen

  • I can burn water.

  • Cool. I see that you've decided to share some of your recipes too!

  • Enjoyed the tips and snort food test. I learned something! Thanks.

  • Made it today, Pasta carbonara originale.

cook pasta and bacon cubes so they are ready at the same time, put it together, springle cheese on it and 2/3 raw eggs and stir. Maybe some unions or fresh garlic the last 5 minutes by the bacon.

Time to cook 12 minutes (excl cooking the water before you put in the pasta)

This is the original italian carbonara and not the stuff with that nasty creamsauce.

When you feel like a chef, put a boullioncube in the pasta water.

My wife kills for this food.

  • Especially at winter time I prefer my slow cooker / crock-pot. Just chop up some onion and garlic. Dice up some carrots, turnips, swedes. Brown in a pan (this caramelises it and provides a beautiful flavour). Do the same with some diced chicken and throw in some dried chopped thyme. Once it's browned throw in the crock-pot with some drained tinned sweetcorn and a couple of chicken stock cubes, tinned tomatoes, water, salt, pepper to taste. Leave on low setting overnight for eating the next day

  • Really quick meal. Cook a handful of pasta quills. While that's cooking get a can of tuna, a spoon of mayo, fresh ground black pepper and mix up. A minute or two before the pasta is done throw in some peas or some kidney beans. Drain them and mix in. Done.

  • @ZenArcher btw you've always reminded me of Robin William - ok now I've said it :)

  • @ZenArcher it's never too late Zen. You're the man, I remember your videos back in the day, used to drink hot chocolate and listen to ya :)
