i think your depiction of birddroppings is quite accurate although slightly out of focus. I like the post-modern addition of your toes and sandals, making it clearly a work from the 90's or beyond. It almost has a Schnabelesque-touch to it. A shame you didnt show the work in the making, but i bet u didnt want your pants dirtyfied, it would have been a shame sending that fine fresh artpiece into the laundries. But well, its a hard choice: walking the streets with dirty pants, or with a dirty mind.
"genius" and "master" are words people use to feel more important. Somehow if they use those words they feel as if they have a connection to that person or what they're doing. I stood next to Pollock's work, It was very powerful, and everyone next to me felt the same. But again it's all relative.
I'm starting to think it is prob waste, looks good, kinda, but no hues no tints no shades no DEPTH. Some of the Masters stuff is 'genius' and so boring, some of it isn't.
Despite PDJP's daft comments, art is about what seperates humans from other species, less about the mark on the canvas, more about making the mark, and what the mark has to contribute to human civilisation.
man, everyone on this site is going to tell me what art is or isn't,instead of wasting the worlds time, just enjoy it or make it,if you think you can do better, prove it.if not go rate bon jovi videos or monkeys fucking alligator videos, like every other dumbass.
And your comments are examples of aptness and geometric precision. I'll peruse each and every of them with deliberate care to learn from your higher wisdom.
had your gripe and say re Pollock's 'art' you don't like it and that is fine, end of story. I do like it and that is fine, end of story.
I find most of your comments "abstract" and "senseless". Are you an ape or just petending to be dumb? LOL! What you type reads like bird poo but it still has value, i.e. good fot a laugh. You and Pollock got a lot in common.
Congratulations on your achievement! You did better than many art critics: google for "Avantgarde artist Pierre Brassau".
I described the standard meaning of "abstract" in English language. The meaning you atribute to "abstract" is normally conveyed by the word "senseless."
googled the artist ape thing and got it 100% correct for what it's worth. Obvious to blind freddy that Pollock and his 'imitators' work is not the work of an ape, it is controlled and as for as the abstract label is concerned the work is not represetational of specific objects as such but more 'abstract'. e.g you can paint a 'realistic' vase but not 'realistic' sorrow. It is what the painting conveys to both the painter and the observer.
"Abstract" means distant from a concrete object, but retaining one of its essential properties, which can also be applied to other concrete objects.
For example, numbers are abstract. Number "3" can relate to either three craws or to three cows. The ability for abstract thinking is what distinguish humans from animals. The so called "abstract art" is hard to tell from ape work. Apes are not capable of abstraction. Thus that art is not abstract, but apestract. And, as such, degenerate.

so, do you like JP's work, or is it waste?

You know it doesn't have to be that complicated.

Good. I summarize:
Pollock said his paintings are like a field of flowers, but they resemble birdcrap.
