We understand ourselves and our environment by stories ... good stories or bad stories, truthful stories or lies. Storytelling is how Pulitzer Prize winner Elizabeth Strout makes a living and a life.

  • I love Olive Kitteridge, the character and the book itself.

  • I recently completed reading three books by this author and "Isabelle and Amy" was the most powerful and meaningful to me, although I enjoyed "Olive Kitteridge" immensely as well. She creates a community of characters that you want to move in with and has such original ways of describing the commonplace that it almost takes your breath away. Guess I'm a fan!
