The group consisted of Jay Aston, Cheryl Baker, Mike Nolan, Bobby G.
Reached no. 10 on the UK singles chart in June 1983, (remaining at that position for 2 weeks). Other singles in the Top 10 at the time included Every Breath You Take by The Police, China Girl by David Bowie, Bad Boys by Wham!, Flashdance by Irene Cara, I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues by Elton John, I.O.U. by Freeez, Moonlight Shadow by Mike Oldfield.

jay is totally rocking the look a good year before madonna did exactly the same and she was classed as so revolutionary. i agree with fizzpunk they r probably THE most under estimated bands of the 80s they did poppy,rocky,cheesy and pulled off each one. jay is my fave and as far as i`m concerned after she left bucks fizz finished. absolutely love em x
