A very rough cut of a short film based on Darwyn Cooke's short story EVERDAY MADNESS. When a man and his vacuum cleaner engage in a passionate love affair everything in the world seems perfect. However, when the Vacuum Cleaner desicrates a picture of the man's mother, he begins to realise that he has made a mistake -- one he must rectify!
Starring Dan Baker, and Directed by Luke Mears, with Cinematography by James Dyer.

Have to agree with Mary, this is one of my favourite videos you've done. Like a few of my favourite films it has the lonely western male caught in that kind of existential gloom (Falling Down, Fight Club).

Come to think about it, this is actually the kind of thing I'd watch on repeat whilst I'm falling asleep. That's a huge compliment as currently On The Waterfront is holding that privilege.

I did actually shoot those sequences, but their quality was not up to my (fairly low) standards... Which tells you something about how badly I can botch things up! :)
