http://www.trusera.com/health/collections/autism A lot of people talk about whether you can recover from autism. I think that misses the point. Whats important is what people with autism are capable of. I am a 16-year old and I have autism. Autism does not define me; it has made me a better person. In this video, I tell my story from my point of view. I share what I have accomplished, and my big day in eighth grade.

My parents have always had high expectations of me, and I think that helped me progress beyond what others expected. I worked really hard and have grown so much. Children with autism can accomplish more than you might think. Dream big, and expect a lot. Hear about my big success in this story.

Presented by Trusera, the online network where you can find and share real-world experiences with others who have been there. Autism Awareness starts with Insight, Understanding and Inspiration. Every Day. Come. Listen. Share.
