Who says they're not? I agree, multitasking is a huge disappointment (that the iPad doesn't have) - thus why I'm hoping it's coming with it in a very early software upgrade or in version 2.

well have they made an announcement stating that they will. I'm simply telling Apple, instead of waiting for the release date to take effect, take initiative tomorrow and make this happen. I dont want to see this when it comes april that it doesnt have multitasking.

i don't believe the ipad will take any real market from the kindle or Sony e readers. The main reason deals with the e-Ink display on the kindle and sony With e-ink, you can read books on the device without any real issues of glare or ambient brightness very similarly to the way one actually reads a book.

you said its an iPhone etc all in one device. ITS NOT AN iPHONE, because it cannot make calls. Also no Flash makes it suck at the WEB!
