  • The history of this group is very complicated. In 1958 the two Dell(Del)-Vikings groups merged into one at Mercury. They broke up later that year. Krip Johnson then formed this group in 1959 with all new members. Great tune.

  • what a great song

  • That's great! I heard it in 'Grumpier old men'. It's a shame they didn't use La Rosa's 'Get me to the church on time' it would fit to the scene they were hurrying to their children's wedding.

  • i agree pj bring back the vinyl

  • This is a great song PJ. This was after they split into two different groups and they were trying to recreate their hit whispering bells. But I' sure you know as well as I do bands did this all the time in the 50's. I love when the monotones wrote a song called "reading the book of love" to follow "book of love". Have you ever heard "the voodoo man" by the del vikings.

  • I love the 50's!!!

  • Another great song by the Del Vikings. Similar to Whispering bells.

  • I heard this song as a wedding promo on General Hospital years ago. Have always wondered who song it; and wanted to hear the entire version. Finally found it here on You Tube after years of wondering. Thanks for posting this GREAT song.

  • perfecta armonia. mi grupo favorito de doowop

  • This is when MUSIC was really and truely MUSIC!!!!
