In November 2009, Child's Play Communications, specialists in reaching moms, hosted its second annual Bloggers Brunch, an opportunity for companies and mommy bloggers to connect face to face, in an intimate atmosphere, conducive to conversation and personal connections.

The event kicked off with a panel of leading mom bloggers who addressed the topic, "What Does a Mommy Blogger Want?" before a standing-room-only crowd. The speakers discussed best practices for reaching moms through social media, shared their insights on issues and trends in the momosphere and answered questions from the audience. Featured speakers included Liz Gumbinner, Cool Mom Picks; Kimberly Coleman, Mom in the City; Melissa Chapman, Kids in the City; Jo-Lynne Shane, Musings of a Housewife, and Debbie Bookstaber, Mamanista. The panel was moderated by Stephanie Azzarone, Mom Market Trends, and president, Child's Play Communications.

The morning presentation was followed by a noon brunch at which sponsors exhibited their products to dozens of mom bloggers, for consideration in time for holiday reviews. Sponsors includd Cuisinart, FujiFilm, Goddard Schools, Good Housekeeping, Joy Berry Enterprises, Nickelodeon, the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Toy Industy Association.
